Sit here awhile and learn that it’s ok to do absolutely nothing.
We live in a culture that places a lot of value on doing things and this means we can feel as though we’re being lazy or ‘not good enough’ if we don’t do anything.
Remember that we are human beings, not human ‘doings’ and that resting our minds in the present is really important to our wellbeing.
You might find it tricky to do nothing. That’s ok, it just takes a bit of practise, so make yourself comfortable, close your eyes and notice your breathing. Allow your thoughts to wash in and wash out, like waves.
And do nothing.
