Hello Trinity Learners

With only four weeks to go until we announce our winning house of the year I hope you are all still working hard to earn house points.  Please read below some motivational words from our great House Captains :

We wish we could be in school with you but what can we do?

Remember, we’re not alone, make sure to get exercise and have fun at home with your family.  Come on everyone – let’s earn house points so we can win the cup for Melville

Kian Broadway, Fin Wright, Soley Longworth

Dear Royston

The Winning House of The Year is soon to be announced, so we need to keep those house points coming in! We haven’t won house of the week in lockdown… so we need to try to get the most points that have ever been given out😮!

I know we can do it! Come on ROYSTON! Who’s the best house? ROYSTON (obviously)

May Gatward , Zak Turtle, Jack McMurtrie

Don’t worry my fellow Argyll pupils, we will get through these tough times. Remember our 4 values; respect, kindness, creativity and perseverance. Try to earn as many house points as possible – we want Argyll to win again!

Euan Tyrell Johnstone, Erwan Mesle, Stella Paterson

Well done Craighall, you are all doing so well with your work and collecting house points! Remember that even if the challenge you’re doing is hard, don’t give up! But don’t be scared to challenge yourself either, doing something that might be too easy isn’t the best thing for you! And last but not least remember that it’s fine if you don’t win as it’s the fun that counts, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it your all!

Good luck Craighall, the Craighall House Captains are rooting for you all!

Natty Tarapata, Fergal Boag, Tola Blazejczyk

TRINITY’S GOT TALENT 2020

As you know at this time of year we always hold Trinity’s Got Talent.  Whilst this year we’re not actually in school, we do feel the show must go on!  Please see attached a poster detailing how you can audition.  You need to send a short film (no longer than 1 minute) of your act to Miss Chalmers –gillian.chalmers@trinity-pri.edin.sch.uk.   The easiest way to do this is using wetransfer.com.   We have extended the closing date from the one on the poster to Wed 3rd June to give you a week to rehearse.  The house captains will watch the clips and decide who will go through to the final.  The final acts will then be put together on one movie and votes can be sent into your teachers.  More information about voting will come later.  At the moment you just need to sing, make us laugh, do magic tricks, play an instrument, dance – entertain!   I am really looking forward to seeing some amazing Trinity Talent.

See you soon

Mrs Scott
