Dear Parents and Carers
You will be aware that following the announcement yesterday, schools have now been asked to plan for 100% of pupils returning in August. Whilst this is fabulous news, as we all want nothing more than our school community being back together in our school building, this announcement has, as I am sure you will understand, brought with it many unanswered questions. I had hoped that today might have brought some answers but as I write this I am still unsure about certain aspects. What I am sure about is that as a school we will be prepared and ready for 100% or for putting our contingency plans into place if required. I do apologise that I am unable to share detailed information with you regarding physical distancing, school start times, lunch arrangements, health and safety etc but continue to ask for your support in bearing with us. Given the ever changing nature of the situation my aim will be to share this information at the beginning of August.
On behalf of everyone at Trinity I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for the many messages of thanks and support, for the gifts and the cards, for the tremendous effort that went into the tear jerking video of some of our Trinity learners, for the beautiful flowers and the cakes that have been handed in over the past few days. We are truly lucky to have all of you.
See you soon
Jacqueline Scott
P.S. Tomorrow will see our end of school year celebration posted on the website. Please do take a few moments to watch.
