P7 Trinity News : 25th June

Dear P7 Parents and Carers

Not only is the end of term with us but also the end of the Trinity Primary Learning journey for P7.   As I watched them being presented with their yearbooks by P1 today it seemed like only yesterday that I met many of them for the first time.  How time flies!    They have been a fabulous P7 year group and I am so proud to have been their HeadTeacher.  I hope that you too feel incredibly proud of the confident, kind, respectful and successful children you have.  They are a credit to you and to themselves.

I hope that they enjoyed the final week of school, as well as the many weeks and years that went before.    I have had a lovely time eating chips with them at Wardie Bay, watching their ‘acts’ in The Future is Ours, presenting their yearbooks (very ably helped by P1),  eating pizza with them at their pizza party (food again!),  supporting our house captains presenting Trinity’s Got Talent and listening to a very emotional and spontaneous rendition of Wild Mountain Thyme.  Certainly a week to remember.

For some of you this will also be the end of your Trinity Primary journey and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support.  Our school wouldn’t be the fabulous school it is without the fabulous community we have around it!

Have a lovely summer and I hope to see you everyone back at a Trinity May Fair – whenever that might be!

Best wishes

Jacqueline Scott
