Trinity News: March 23rd

Dear Parents and Carers

I hope all is well with you.  In true British fashion I do find myself ‘talking about the weather’.   The last few days have been so glorious and certainly helped to make our Red Nose Day event a huge success.   I was so proud of all of our learners.  Within less than an hour they had set up their stalls and events and the playground was transformed.   Together we raised the amazing sum of £2232.   Thank you so much for all the support with this.

Lunches and water

As the nicer weather sets in we will be moving to the children being able to sit outside to eat lunch.  For many this is preferable to sitting indoors and also helps with the continued need to keep classrooms ventilated.  Children must bring their own named water bottle to school.  As a way of supporting sustainability we no longer purchase disposable cups to hand out to children.

P1 and P2 Easter event

This will take place in the front playground on Wed April 6th from 6.00pm – 6.40pm.  Tickets will go on sale next week but please be assured there is a space for everyone in P1 and P2 if everyone wants to come along.

Aug 2022

We are in the process of finalising classes for Aug 2022.  Given a change in roll can result in a deduction in the number of teachers allocated to us please do let the school office know as a matter of priority if your child will not be returning to Trinity in August.  Thank you to those who have already done this.

Ukrainian pupils

We are looking forward to welcoming our first pupil from The Ukraine in the next few days.  It is possible that other children will join us in the future.  The current situation is absolutely heart breaking and we will do all that we can to make any new pupils feel welcome, safe and included in our Trinity community.

We will be taking part in a Ukrainian tradition to decorate Pysanky eggs as a way of showing support.

Best wishes
