Dear P1 Parents and Carers

I hope that you are all well and that you and your child are enjoying being part of our Trinity school community.   As you will be aware we have four class groups in P1 lead by Tracey Sneddon, Laura Johnstone, Helen McLeister and Vikki Kidd.  As Laura Johnston is a newly qualified teacher, in line with Scottish Government guidance, she has one day a week free from immediate class contact.  On that day Amber Ashraf will teach P1J.   Our P1 learners are also supported by Alice McKinstrie, Erin Smith and Amor Boleka, pupil support assistants and by Claire Chamberlain, our Early Years Practitioner.  Across the year the children will experience being taught and supported by all the adults in the P1 team.   They will also have the opportunity to work with children from the different P1 groups.  This is beneficial when they move into P2 and are rearranged into three class groups : P1 class size is 25, P2 and P3 is 30 and P4 – P7 is 33.
