Drop Offs and Pick Ups

Image result for no parking on zig zag

We have had a report from Lothian Buses about unsafe and inconsiderate parking from Trinity parents on Newhaven Road.   As I am sure you are aware there should be no double parking, no parking on the zig zag line area or across the entrance to the car park.  Please consider the safety of all the children and others and park further from the school where it is safe.  Better still, whenever possible, please walk or cycle!

Thank you

‘Matilda’ April 2019

Image result

We are delighted to have secured tickets to go and see ‘Matilda’ the musical, which will be performed at the Playhouse Theatre on Wednesday, 24th April 2019.   A long time to wait, but we thought you would all like to know now.

Because of this, we will have a ‘low-cost Christmas’ this year, and will not be having a trip to the theatre.

After Easter we will send out information about payment for Matilda.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who managed to come and help out this morning. The playground, car park and pavements look much safer for tomorrow.

Well done, great teamwork. Looking forward to seeing everyone back at school tomorrow morning 8.50am (Mon 5.3.18)!

Trinity Book Day – Friday 9th March

This year we will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday March 9th.  Pupils are already listening to, and voting for, their favourite picture book from a choice of 6 from the last 50 years.  They will each design a badge to represent their choice and on the 9th we will construct a human bar graph in the playground to show the results.

On that day we will also be working together in our Trinity Together groups to make an Origami book worm.  If you are able to help from 9.00am – 10.0am please come along.

To encourage everyone to read, children are asked to bring in a book for our giant book swap.   The idea is that all the children will take home a ‘new’ book.  Please do explain to your child that the idea is to swap their book permanently!

We are not asking children to dress up this year.

Schools are expected to be open as usual from Mon 5th March.  Please do bear with us as we manage any difficulties re school lunch orders, refunds etc.

Thank you
