Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who managed to come and help out this morning. The playground, car park and pavements look much safer for tomorrow.

Well done, great teamwork. Looking forward to seeing everyone back at school tomorrow morning 8.50am (Mon 5.3.18)!

Severe Weather Closures Continue to Friday

As schools are to remain closed tomorrow (Fri 2nd March) please note the following info :

Thurs March 8th : Parents’ evening

Fri March 9th : Parents’ afternoon

Please book an appointment if you haven’t already done so.

Trinity Book Day – Friday 9th March

This year we will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday March 9th.  Pupils are already listening to, and voting for, their favourite picture book from a choice of 6 from the last 50 years.  They will each design a badge to represent their choice and on the 9th we will construct a human bar graph in the playground to show the results.

On that day we will also be working together in our Trinity Together groups to make an Origami book worm.  If you are able to help from 9.00am – 10.0am please come along.

To encourage everyone to read, children are asked to bring in a book for our giant book swap.   The idea is that all the children will take home a ‘new’ book.  Please do explain to your child that the idea is to swap their book permanently!

We are not asking children to dress up this year.

Schools are expected to be open as usual from Mon 5th March.  Please do bear with us as we manage any difficulties re school lunch orders, refunds etc.

Thank you

Heating in School

Dear Parents and Carers

Unfortunately there continues to be an issue with the heating in school.  This is due to a cracked pipe.  Whilst it is not an ideal situation the following is in place :

  • The school is using temporary, portable heaters because there is no central heating
  • An immersion heater is being used to supply hot water
  • The  school are able to order further heaters if the weather gets colder – these will be managed by the school.
  • The central heating cannot be restored until the pipe is repaired.
  • Facilities Management will keep the school updated on what is happening and when the repair is being done.
  • The temporary heaters will remain on site until no longer required.

Please contact the school if you wish to discuss this further.
