Morning Primary 5, I hope you enjoyed getting back to ‘school’ yesterday! My tasks are for everyone to have a go at if you wish. I enjoyed reading ‘Miss. Child Has Gone Wild’! A tough class!!!
Go to Epic and read some more of the book.
The class won a trip to their local zoo. Quite an adventure!
I want you to go onto the Edinburgh Zoo website; select an animal to research and create an A4 information sheet all about this creature. Saying why it’s the best place to be in the zoo.
You want to persuade your reader that it’s the craziest enclosure in the zoo. Think about your use of description and use pictures and creative lettering to entice the visitors!

Hello Primary 5, I hope you’ve had a chilled Easter break! Are you ready for the term ahead? It’s been a quick year.
So, I’ve doubled checked The Epic website and the Epic app and I’ve managed to select a book that is on both. Fingers crossed!!!
Today’s challenge is to get you reading… It is so important to read regularly for enjoyment and I’ve selected a book that I hope you will enjoy!
Spend some time today reading the start of this book and tomorrow I will give you a task. Let me know how you get on at:
Over the next few weeks I will be adding phonics suggestions to class pages to help with your child’s reading and spelling.
The first is this link below that will help you and your child pronounce each sound and give you further insight into the Edinburgh Sound Chart.
Look out for further activities and remember to go to: http://www.oxfordowl.co.uk for fantastic reading material.
Don’t forget to check out our Youtube help desk for clips to help you with your learning. Today, there is a video from Miss Campbell to help you with your Numeracy task and a video about feedback on Showbie that we want you to watch. If you subscribe to the channel you should receive notifications of when we post a new video.
