School and Playground Development

New Learning Space

Due to ‘Rising Rolls’ in the City of Edinburgh Council, Trinity Primary School is gaining a new building encompassing two fabulous learning spaces.

Mrs Scott, the Parent Council and City of Edinburgh Council have worked together over the last year to finalise the building plans. In the near future building work will begin on these learning spaces, situated in the back playground.

We aim to continue to keep you updated on the progress throughout the building process.

Playground update!

We are now so close to having amazing play spaces all round our school.  The fenced area has been resurfaced, we now have artificial grass in the internal courtyard and Mr Campbell is continuing to improve the back playground with our Trinity theatre, rubber matting etc.  The front playground is nearing completion and looks incredible.  We cannot thank the parent group enough for all their efforts and hard work with this project.  Mrs Scott has spoken with the children and explained that we need to be patient for a wee while yet.  Each class will have the opportunity to try out the new ‘mound’ and we will discuss how to play safely and responsibly. We are all very excited about the fantastic play spaces in our school.

We are now asking for donations for loose parts to encourage imaginative play. Please click on the links below for more information:

We are very excited about the changes that are happening to our school playground. Whilst the front playground entrance is closed off, can we please ask all parents and carers to drop off and to collect their children using the side gate or the gate into Victoria Park. Please do not walk through the car park with your children – thank you.
