Trinity News :Thursday 20th March 2025

Dear Parents and Carers

As we approach Red Nose Day tomorrow (Friday 21st)  I am looking forward to seeing our Trinity learners lead the event.   Every year I am always so proud of how, in a matter of minutes, they set up stalls and activities and use a range of skills to raise money for charity.  Our P3s have done a fantastic job selling red noses and sharing information with the school at Trinity Together.  Please see below for a reminder of P3s message.

This will be a morning for us to show our kindness and creativity to raise money for those in need.

You can do your bit by organising a stall.  You can sell food, toys and books, organise a challenge, anything that will be fun and can raise money.

The items on your stall can only cost 20p, 50p or £1

You will need to bring in a float.   This is a tub of coins so you cna give your customers change.  This float can either be handed in as a donation or taken home to your parents and carers.

It will be a morning of fun and creativity so dress up, down, in red or from the 80s and bring in money to spend for the good others.

Outdoor Library

A big thanks to Elissa and Zoe from P5 who have been our first Reading Champions and have taken responsibility for our outdoor reading kiosk.  They have done a great job ensuring it is kept tidy, making sure books are returned and encouraging reading.

Mrs Lamb and the gardening group are delighted with the donations made for plants.  Many thanks.  Please watch the space ‘grow’ as more plants are planted.

August 2025

We are starting the process of planning staffing and class organisation for August 2025.  Please do let us know, as a priority, if your child will not be returning to Trinity Primary after the summer holidays.   This year will see all our classes being rearranged to form new classes.  Experience shows us that providing opportunities for our learners to extend friendships and to learn with and from different groups is beneficial as they move through primary school.  Please be assured that staff take considerable time to get this right for all our learners taking into consideration a range of criteria – established positive friendships, learning styles, additional support needs, gender balance etc.   It’s no easy task but one that is worth spendig time on.   x

If you wish to discuss this further please do get in touch with myself using the admin email box – admin@trinity-pri.edin.sch.uk.
