Edinburgh Learns General Home Learning Grids
While you are unable to be at school please find some activities that you can be working on at home. These can be printed off or can be completed in your child’s Homelearning jotter. For more support or challenge for your child, please look at the ‘Early Level’ or ‘Second Level’ sections on the website.
Literacy
Reading
If your child has a school reading book at home they can practise reading this. Reading for enjoyment should also be encouraged by reading lots of picture/story books at home. Activity suggestions below can be completed for any book.

General
Your child could also carry out a research project on a topic of their choice. Encourage them to research their topic at home and decide on a way to share what they have learnt. This could be through creating a fact book, a powerpoint or keynote presentation, an iMovie or film or a poster.
