GIRFEC is the national approach to improving outcomes through public services that support the wellbeing of children and young people. Based on children’s and young people’s rights, it supports children, young people and their parents to work in partnership with the services that can help them. 

As part of this, you will have heard information about the role of the ‘Named Person’ and ‘Lead professional.

Young Carers @ Trinity

Kelly Tawake is our Young Carer coordinator at Trinity Primary.

Kelly supports our learners who are young carers through fortnightly young carer group sessions and she can also help with support for referrals to Young Carer organisations.
