Trinity Primary School Parent Council is a key part of the school’s community. We are a small and friendly group of parents who represent your views, concerns and ideas to the school and to the City of Edinburgh Council.
We support the school in its work with the pupils and report back to you, the Trinity parents and carers. We meet regularly with Headteacher Mrs Scott as well as other members of senior management and local Councillors to discuss a wide range of issues.
We are looking for parents to join us and take an active part in sharing your views and making inputs to important decisions. In the past year we have acted on your behalf on a range of issues, including:
- Providing input into the designs of new classrooms for 2018/19, and the implications for outdoor space
- Working with the City Council and the school to make improvements to the Parentpay online payment system
- Providing feedback on the school’s reporting of pupil progress to parents
- Contributing to the Scottish Government’s Consultation on the Education Bill 2018, asking for feedback on how decisions about education should be made.
Come to one of our meetings for the chance to input into the school’s future. Meetings take place at school from 7.30pm, all very welcome.
