We took part in a city wide Cross Country event at Wardie Playing Fields today. We were awarded 3 medals (top 5 positions in each race) and every one of the runners did a fantastic job. They were determined and pushed themselves. We are very proud of everyone who took part!

Well done to Alex for his amazing, selfless act of shaving his head in irder to raise money for a Scottish Leukemia charity. Alex has already raised more than £500 and this is continuing to grow! What a fabulous act of Kindness.

A massive congratulations to Dan who raised £202.50 for the British Heart Foundation by not eating sweeties, crisps, biscuits, chocolate or cake for the whole month of March (eventhough he went to 6 parties!) What a selfless task, well done you!
A huge well done to Roddy who completed the Great Edinburgh Run of 1 mile last weekend.
Well done for completing the 1.5Km Balmoral Run at the weekend. You must have been speedy at only taking 8 minutes and 3 seconds to finish the whole course!!

Congratulations to all the children and their families who climbed Arthus Seat in aid of Save the Children. This group managed to raise an amazing £531.44 for the charity. Well done all of you, your effort will help so many children in need.
Well done to Ali who took part in a rugby tournament at the weekend at Stewart Melville school. His team were able to win a few of their games so excellent playing, keep up the great work!

Well done to Martha who entred the ‘Our Environment’ competition organised by Scotland’s Environment / Young Scot. It was open to primary and secondary pupils, both class and individual entries. Martha won the p2-4 individual entry. Her project was about beach litter. Her award was presented at the Scottish Parliament by MSP Mike Russell.
