Dear Parent and Carers,
All schools in Scotland have been asked to raise attainment in literacy, numeracy and maths. At Trinity, we use a wide variety of ways to do this.
In maths this year we are using an exciting and motivational maths educational game to reinforce learning and teaching done in class. It is called Sumdog. Sumdog’s educational games are used in thousands of schools worldwide. They motivate children to work on maths and when children regularly use it, it helps to raise their attainment.
As children play Sumdog’s educational games, they answer questions – each one personalised to their own needs. Your children will be using Sumdog in school, but as some of you will know, they can also log in at home too on computers, mobile phones through the app and on tablets.
