Trinity News: 23rd April 2026

Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome back to the final term of the school year.  How quickly time flies.   It is lovely to have everyone back in school and ready to learn.  Over the holidays Ken Campbell, our former janitor, has done an amazing job revamping playground equipment and  areas of the secret garden.   Our outdoor learning spaces are a real asset but they do require a lot of effort to maintain.   Thank you to all of those who volunteer with this.  If you are interested in getting involved please contact Katie Lamb (katie.lamb@trinity-pri.edin.sch.uk) or the school office.

Many thanks to our TPSA who have purchased some outdoor seating for the back playground.  We are looking forward to this arriving next week.

Learning Estates review – please see below and attached from City of Edinburgh

To fully deliver the Edinburgh’s ‘Vision for Inclusive Education’, a review of the learning estate is required to ensure it is fit for purpose and meets the needs of our children, young people, staff and wider service users.  In order to take this forward, we are consulting with stakeholders to share and gather information to inform the development of an inclusive learning estates strategy. This strategy will include principles for inclusion to inform mainstream school builds and also consider the special school estate now and into the future.

The attached flyer provides information as to how to respond to this.

Term ahead

Please do take time to look at what’s going on this term.    Our school focus will be learning about South Amerca.
