Trinity News: 20th May 2026

Dear Parents and Carers

I hope you are all well and that your child enjoyed our South American fiesta Sports Day.    It is always such a fun morning with P7 ’embracing’ the relay at the end.  The slightly colder weather didn’t deter them in any way.   With only five weeks to the end of this school year it is a very busy time at Trinity as we look at class organisation, meet our new P1s, prepare to say goodbye to our P7s, enjoy various events etc.  Please do keep an eye on the calendar below and watch out for text updates.  We do occasionally get comments saying too much information is shared but this is definitely a case of we can’t please everyone.  Some families will say to the office they don’t know what is going on!

Sponsored Walk : Friday June 6th

Our P7 Health and Wellbeing leadership group are currently planning a whole school 3K sponsored walk in aid of Edinburgh’s Children’s Hospital charity.   A similar event was undertaken a few years ago and was extremely successful.  Several Trinity families have benefited from this charity and any money we raise I am sure will go to good use. The group are planning a route along the local walkway but need help from parents and carers to act as marshals or to walk with some learners.   Further information will be shared but in the meantime it would be helpful to the group to have an idea of numbers able to help so please do let us know either by emailing to admin@trinity-pri.edin.sch.uk or by completing the form (another one!) below.

Connecting Cultures event : Friday May 22nd 2026

We are looking forward to welcoming parents and carers to our Connecting Cultures Star Time and  Coffee Morning on Friday.   This  event  is being lead by our P7 Equalities and Diversity leadership group.   Parents and Carers are welcome to join Star Time from 9.15am and then go onto the coffee morning or simply come in for the coffee morning at 10.10am.   I do appreciate that many parents and carers have other commitments on a Friday morning and hope that across the year other opportunities are available to join school events.

Priorities for 26 / 27

Thank you to those of you who have taken time to respond to our questionnaire.   The survey closes on Friday May 22nd so please do click on  the link below if you would like to give us some feedback.  Many thanks.
