P6 Wk of 19th May

We hope you had a good long weekend. We are looking forward to seeing all the pictures of the Time Travellers Sport’s Day. Pupils should email photos to their Home Teacher or upload to the Assignment in Teams.

The Hay Festival is taking place online this year. There are lots of great authors taking part and some fun activities to do.

Hi!

We hope you had a lovely weekend and look forward to ‘seeing’ the pupils online this week. We are continuing to learn about the UK in the 1920s as part of our ‘Between the Wars’ topic. We also look forward to seeing the pupils in their uniforms on Friday. There is a special buddy activity set for then too.

Remember we are here to help support the pupils please let us know if we can help.

Mrs. Jackson – A helping Hand with Phonics and Spelling

Spelling 19.3.18

Good Morning, over the last couple of weeks I have given you some information about phonics and spelling. For some, the Edinburgh Sound Chart may be confusing at first and so I have created a wee Power Point with some pointers below.

I hope the SOS strategy has been successful and will be useful for your child.

This week, I am also adding a presentation to help with Phonics. Take a look and get your child to read the words each day, building up speed and fluency.

Have a great week and if you have any questions about the above email: kirsten.jackson@trinity-pri.edin.sch.uk
