Dear Parents and Carers
Week three of the school year already! Our P1 classes are already very settled and most have taken to the routines of school with absolute ease. It is lovely to see them running round our playground, playing with older learners and thoroughly enjoying all that school offers. A meeting for P1 parents and carers to share what will be taught in P1, and how you can help will take place on Fri 18th September.
Learning in P2 – P7 continues at pace with our MADD about Europe focus, P3 visits to the Book festival and P4 bramble walks
Meet the Teacher : tonight (Wed) at 5.45pm – 6.45pm
Please do come along this evening to meet your child’s teacher and see their learning environment. Each teacher will give a brief presentation about the year ahead at 5.50pm and then repeat it at 6.15pm.
Wellbeing Wednesday
Many thanks to those who have sponsored Wellbeing Wednesday. This was relaunched today with everyone enjoying a piece of fruit free of charge.
Pantomime : December 1st and 8th
As I am sure you will understand theatre tickets need to be purchased well in advance. We have reserved a seat for Pinocchio for all Trinity learners but need to know if children are attending. We don’t want anyone to be disappointed if a seat hasn’t been confirmed for them. If you haven’t already done so please confirm if your child will be coming along.
Benmore
Next week sees our P7 learners heading to Benmore Outdoor Centre. This residential experience is a key part of the Trinity Learner Journey and is always greatly enjoyed.
MADD about Europe event : Friday September 17th at 9.15am
Parents and carers are invited to join us in the playground (weather permitting) to share music and dance from different European countries. Learners are welcome to come to school dressed as a tourist or wearing the colours of the flag of the country they have learnt about.
Thank you for support and the many kind words acknowledging my retirement in February. They are very much appreciated.
Best wishes
Jacqueline Scott
