Dear Parents and Carers
I hope the October holiday went well for everyone. As you are aware our INSET day yesterday was not able to go ahead as planned. The hoax threat experienced across several authorities, and wider, resulted in staff working from home. However following advice from Police Scotland and CEC it was great to have schools back to normal today.
The safety of our learners is always taken seriously and we all have a part to play, however small.
Please
- Ensure playground gates are closed and the latch placed over when entering or leaving
- Do not park on the zig zag lines or perform a u turn in Newhaven Road
- Remind your child they must push bikes or scooters when in the playground
- If waiting for a child at the end of the day or after a school club, wait outside and not enter the school building
- Remember that the car park is for staff use only
I sincerely hope that the term ahead is a positive one for everyone.
Trinity Together House event : Friday 23rd Oct
Our house captains are organising an event on Friday morning to bring together their houses to make a rainbow display. The wearing of house colours is actively encouraged.
Halloween Sponsored Disco : Fri Oct 30th
All Trinity learners are welcome to come to school dressed for Halloween on Friday 30th October. Classes will have an opportunity to take part in the sponsored disco. This is always a great fundraising event set up by the TPSA. Please look out for the QR code to sponsor your child. Alternative arrangements will be available for those learners who do not enjoy a disco!
Digital technology at Trinity
An evening event for P5 – P7 parents and carers is being planned for 6.00pm on Wed 4th November. The evening will provide an opportunity to see how we use digital technologies at Trinity to enhance the learning and teaching of our learners as well as a chance to ask any questions. Currently we have only 11 responses and hope that more parents and carers will be interested in coming along.
